PEACE — People Enlightened After Christ Experience — is a daily devotional that puts one passage of Scripture in front of you every morning, beside a short reflection, a prayer and a declaration to carry into the day. Nothing to scroll through, nothing to unlock: the passage arrives, you read it, and you go into your morning with it.

Each day pairs the traditional Ethiopian text with its modern English reading, printed in two columns so the ancient and the familiar can be read in the same glance. The word is drawn from the Ethiopian Orthodox canon as well as the wider Christian tradition, because the church in Ethiopia has kept these scriptures for centuries and most of the world has never heard them read aloud in their own form.

PEACE is written for anyone whose life has been met by Christ — the newly baptized, the returning, the quietly faithful, and the curious who are still listening. It is also for the Ethiopian diaspora who want the scripture of home in their own language, and for anyone who simply wants a few quiet minutes with God before the noise begins.
